2. The Clients Are Out There. Millions Of Them. Don’t ever doubt it. There are people who will pay you good money when you provide them with a GENUINE product or service. The trick then becomes being able to provide that product or service and then putting it in front of targeted buyers.

3. Keep Learning – there is a very direct relationship between how much you learn and what you will earn. The moment you close your mind to new techniques, new ways of doing this…you’re in trouble. Keep learning. Always.

4. Give Yourself TIME – Look, I’ve been on the net for over a decade. I was not even earning a FRACTION of what I am after my first year. All good business people give themselves time to learn and earn. Take a very long term mindset.

5. Remember – A Business Is About CLIENTS. While learning, while setting up new sites in the very best niches, your business is about clients. About people. So, build your lists, and learn about the most potent ways of getting targeted clients to your sites and onto your list. It’s so simple when you avoid the clutter – have a good product/service and site – and get clients as cost efficiently as possible. And let the laws of nature handle the rest.

It’s never been a better time to set up your own internet marketing business!

The reason I feel it is so important to start looking at your own thing now is simply what’s happening in the world today. We’re seeing more and more companies going bust. We’re seeing more people unemployed (in the Eurozone, generic unemployment has climbed over 10% with some countries like Greece seeing multiples of that).

We’re seeing wages frozen, sometimes even go down – yet the cost of living is rocketing. In the UK for example, people are finding that even getting to work is becoming too expensive…rail and subway fares, and petrol have seen massive rises – meaning more people seem to be working harder and harder, in return for less and less.

Perhaps the most worrying trend of all is that all signs point to this getting worse, as governments desperately try to raise funds to address crippling debts and unsustainable budget deficits. And who will suffer the most? Ordinary folks who have ordinary jobs. Their wages will be frozen, yet they will face crippling direct and indirect tax hikes, and savage inflation. They will face greater work associated costs (travel etc). Their incomes will be squeezed more and more, till they appear to be working just to pay the most basic of living expenses.

Now obviously, I don’t know your personal circumstances. My newsletter readers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, from hardcore business owners to people who are currently employed but are setting up their business on a part time basis – to those who are retired and wish to supplement their income.

Whatever your background, just keep in mind that it’s always a good thing to set up your own internet based business (or set up additional income streams). Financially, it will empower you like nothing else ever can. And whatever might happen elsewhere, that source of income will be under YOUR control. It will reward YOU, and not some shareholder or government. And the best thing about setting up your own thing is that you can do it slowly, and at a pace that suits you.

Now, very quickly, here are just a few noteworthy things about setting up your own internet based business:

- The possibilities are practically endless. Bounds of niches, many unique things that you can offer means just about everyone can (with the correct application) carve out their own little income , from home – with nothing but a pc and a net connection. It’s wonderful.

- An internet business can be run from home. This can actually put several thousands of dollars in your pockets every year, because you skip the associated costs of travelling to and from work.

- There can be several tax benefits that you can take advantage of when you have your own business. This can include writing off parts of your rent/mortgage, car expenses, even train and air fare & hotels – depending on the type of your business and the tax laws that apply to you. You just cannot do this when you’re a “worker”.

That’s merely scratching the surface. There’s the comfort and dignity of working for yourself , without workplace politics (etc) which frankly is priceless. You can’t put a monetary value on it.

As I’ve said for a while now, one very strong way of achieving all the above is by offering your services online. Doing (actually simple) things that millions of people are paying good money for.

Today, I want to tell you two simple things that will help you to earn money. Both have more or less limitless potential. Then, one niche site is available for sale for the first person who wants it (insane price for what you’re getting)

1. Consider Being An IM Contractor…

Over the past couple of years especially, I’ve been literally shocked by the number of people who have approached me and asked me to do online work for them. Everything from website design, and marketing to creating graphics and more.

Fact is , when you learn how to do a few simple skills online…the world is your oyster.

Internet Marketing Contractors are in great demand, and you can actually fit this into your normal online business activities quite comfortably. Take on new work when you have time. You can actually earn hundreds per day doing things that people in the offline world just do not have the time or patience to learn.

1. IDENTIFY – What niches, products and services are in DEMAND? Listen, I’ve seen shockingly poor niche product and services offered out there for 3 and even 4 figure fees. A lot of them leave the buyer (normally newbies) with nothing but expensive digital DUST on their hard drives. They sell a dream and nothing more. Designed to make a few JV partners rich. Nothing more. Just because a pig wears a diamond neckless and tiara, doesn’t make it a princess (Ps I have nothing against pigs, I quite like them in fact).

So, in 2012 make it a mission only to penetrate the BEST niches. The ones with good profit potential. The ones that have a BUZZ about them. It’s important. Keep in touch with this newsletter, I’ll research and provide the best of them for you on a silver platter (yes, no charge for my in depth research).

And, in 2012, understand that online you need to offer a wide berth of products and services. Yes, you CAN make 4 and 5 figures with one site. These are not things to be afraid of, rather things to EMBRACE. They are opportunities, and you should learn about them. 3. APPLY – This is HUGE ok. The first points are key but they are USELESS unless you actually put them into pratice. And SO MANY intelligent people who could succeed otherwise, fall down simply because they FAIL TO APPLY. By this I mean consistent application. Not trying something for a week and then giving up because it’s not made a thousand bucks, or because Bob The Guru (my older clients will remember him) has come up with a new push button software that makes everyone who buys it rich (or gets leads and clients on autopilot or fill in the fantasty here _______________.)

Here’s something no one wants to hear. It’s a hard graft online. There is NO magic software. Sorry but it’s true.

But, do the 3 simple things above and you WILL succeed. How do I know? Because damit I’ve been doing it for a decade now and I make my entire living with the internet
